Madam Dabiri reveal say Favour Ugwu be one of dose wey dey traffic young Naija girls to Ghana for prostitution and oda illegal activities. She write for her X page say, "A plus for di war against human trafficking. Favour Ugwe was convicted today in Ghana. To spend 8 years in prison. One of di faces of those wey traffic our young girls to Ghana."
Favour Ugwu confess say she recruit di victim from Abuja, Nigeria's capital, with di help of one accomplice wey pay for her transport to Ghana. Di Chadian girl talk say Ugwe promise am work for restaurant, but instead force am into prostitution.
Ghana court order Ugwe to pay GH¢5,000 to di victim as compensation, plus 8 years imprisonment with hard labour. Di judge, Her Honour Akosua Adjepong, consider Ugwe's lack of remorse during trial and di prevalence of human trafficking for Ghana before passing di sentence.
