Chidimma Adetshina, wey win Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant, talk say dem inviting am to join di competition be second chance to achieve one of her biggest dreams. Di 23-year-old law student come to Nigeria after she agree to join di competition, after she withdraw from Miss South Africa 2024 because of xenophobic backlash over her nationality.
Adetshina, wey represent Taraba State, go receive N10 million cash, plus other prizes, and go represent Nigeria for Miss Universe pageant for Mexico dis November. Before she win, she talk to Arise Television, say "I dey excited, I feel like dis be second chance to achieve one of my biggest dreams and goals, and I dey grateful."
Adetshina say she always want to be model, but she no know about pageantry until 2017, when she tell herself say she want to be di next Miss Universe. She say she set goals for herself and she dey here to achieve dem.
