One 95-year-old man from Kenya, Ibrahim Mbogo, don marry im 90-year-old sweetheart, Tabitha Wangui, on Sunday, afta dem meet for over 60 years. Dem do white wedding for church, and Mbogo talk say dem meet for 1960 and fall in love.
"We siddon together, think am, and decide say make we do white wedding. We know say for our Kikuyu custom, we don marry legally, but since we be Christians too, we decide do church wedding," Mbogo yarn outside church for Mukurweini, one town wey dey three hours drive from Nairobi, Kenya capital.
Mbogo wear smart grey suit and silver tie for im special day, while im new wife wear white hat with cream brocade jacket on top white cloth. When dem ask dem about dem secret, 90-year-old bride tell women make dem respect dia husbands.
"Una must respect una husbands, if una do am, den una go live like us. No do any bad t'ing, and when una do, just apologize and ask forgiveness."
