Nasarawa Govment dey Ready to Pay N70,000 Minimum Wage

Nasarawa State Govment don talk say dem dey ready to pay di new N70,000 minimum wage to civil servants for di state. Mr Peter Ahemba, Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Public Affairs, talk dis on Tuesday for Lafia when him visit di office of Correspondents' Chapel, Nasarawa State.

Him say dat di payment of di new minimum wage to civil servants go improve dia welfare and boost dia productivity. "Di issue of N70,000 minimum wage no be news again. President Ahmed Bola Tinubu don approve di payment of di said amount to workers.

"Gov. Abdullahi Sule administration dey ready to pay di N70,000 to civil servants for di state. Di governor don make am clear say him willing to pay di new minimum wage to civil servants for di state," him talk.

On di nationwide protest, di governor's aide appeal to di people make dem end di protest and follow di path of dialogue and peace, give say some of dia grievances dey already dey addressed by govment. "Di constitution don provide for citizens to exercise dia feelings through peaceful protests. However, govment no go allow any form of criminality - looting of property for di guise of protest," him talk.
