Di Permanent Secretary for Federal Ministry of Education, Dr Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, don ask Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate who write letter for Creative Africa Initiative to hold national debate on top "Same-Sex Marriage Should Be Legalised in Nigeria".
For one letter wey dem date 9th August 2024, Gwarzo tell DSS say dem need to know who write di letter and why dem write am. Di letter talk say di topic of di debate no dey align with Nigeria culture, religion, and law.
Gwarzo say di debate fit cause confusion, unrest, and division among Nigerians. "Dem need to investigate dis matter sharp-sharp, make dem know who dey behind am and why dem want hold di debate," Gwarzo talk.
Di letter also talk say di debate fit undermine Nigeria law and destabilize societal norms. "DSS need to take dis matter serious and make sure say dem no allow anything wey fit cause trouble for our country," Gwarzo add.
