Di court order na interim injunction wey dey stop di goment from taking "any further steps in forceful demolition of the structures erected on the piece of land known as the Central Market Layout Owerri, Imo State".
Di order also warn against forcefully ejecting di Plaintiffs from di structures erected by dem (plaintiffs) on di piece of land known as Central Market Layout Owerri, Imo State.
E also warn against further construction of di ongoing perimeter fencing work around di structures erected by di plaintiffs pending di hearing and determination of di motion on Notice for Interlocutory Injunction filed by di Plaintiffs/Applicants.
E read thus: "Order of Interim Injunction is hereby granted restraining the Defendants either by themselves or through their agents, servants, assigns, heirs, privies or any other person acting on their behalf from taking any further steps in furtherance of the forceful demolition of the structures erected by the Plaintiffs on the piece of land known as the central market layout Owerri Imo State pending the hearing and determination of the motion on Notice for Interlocutory Injunction filed by the Plaintiffs/Applicants."
Speaking to newsmen, Counsel to di plaintiffs, Mr Christian Nwadigo, say im clients include di Incorporated Board of Trustees of Rhema Life Ministry International and Sunway Global Properties limited.
Others na Zero-one Global Properties limited; Ekpereamaka Nwankwo and Nwankwo Emmanuel for themselves and on behalf of all owners of di land within di Central Market layout Owerri, for Imo.
Nwadigo say im clients dey seek di determination of a suit praying di Court to restore owner of dia property as well as award due compensations for demolished property.
Other defendants for di matter, however, include di Owerri Central Market complex Development and Investment Company limited as well as Donez Global Services Limited.
