AEDC guys yarn say, "Make una no vex, the light wey no dey na because of one kain problem wey happen for the national grid. The whole thing collapse around 3:10pm on Saturday, and na im affect the power supply for all the areas wey we dey responsible for."
Dem say dem dey work with other important people for industry to bring the light back as soon as the national grid don balance well again.
For their own side, Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) come confirm the same thing, say the whole thing happen around 3:09pm. Their Head of Corporate Affairs, one oga wey dem call Emeka Ezeh, come tell people for public notice say na general system collapse be the koko.
Ezeh come yarn say, "I wan use this opportunity inform all our important customers about the general system collapse wey happen around 3:09pm today, wey be Saturday, July 6th, 2024. This na why everywhere no get light now."
