Presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga, don accuse supporters of Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, of planning protests across di country. Onanuga, wey be Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, say Obi go be held responsible for whatever crisis dat emanate from di action.
Onanuga write on him official X account say di protest planners be di same people wey IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu instigate to launch di destructive ENDSARS protest in Nigeria in October 2020.
"Dem dey plan protests, dem dey spread hashtags 'EndBadGovernance,' 'Tinubu Must Go,' and 'Revolution2024.' Dem no be democrats but anarchists. Dem dey try to call out our pipo via propaganda because their Messiah, Peter Obi, fail to win di Presidency in di 2023 election.
"As bad losers, dem no get di patience to wait for another election in 2027; dem would rather destabilise Nigeria by staging civilian coup against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu," him say.
Onanuga also talk say di pipo planning di protests be di same pipo wey dey support IPOB and Peter Obi. Him say dem dey use social media to spread propaganda and incite violence.
"Security agents should begin to interrogate these agents of destabilisation. No country in di world where pipo no dey face economic challenges and where cost of living no be major issue.
"Civilised and democratic pipo wait for another election to make leadership changes. Dem no trigger mayhem in their countries by staging protests, di end of which nobody can predict," Onanuga say.
