Kaduna State train 300 students for UTME

The Zango Kataf Local Government Area for Kaduna State don train 300 students from both public and private schools on how to use computer for the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). According to reports from News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the UTME go happen from April 25 to May 2 for the whole country. The chairman of the council, Mr Francis Sani, tell the students say make dem make use of the opportunity wey dem get so dem go sabi how to use computer well. He talk say dem organise the training because many students for the area no sabi use computer well and as a result, dem dey fail UTME. Mr. Sani talk say dem go give scholarship to any student wey score 240 points and above for the examination.

The Pheonix group wey facilitate the training, through their leader Charles Dyaji, tell the students say make dem no dey fear to use the computer because dem fit dey use smartphones already. Dyaji tell the students say make dem no waste time on difficult questions so dem go fit use their time well for the examination. Some of the students wey dem speak to after the training talk say dem appreciate the council chairman for the chance wey dem give dem to sabi how the actual exam go be like.

The training go help the students to fit use computer well and answer questions effectively for the UTME. E go also reduce the number of students wey go fail the examination because of limited knowledge of computer usage. This initiative go further help to improve the education standard for the area and the state at large. The scholarship wey dem promise the students wey score 240 points and above go also motivate the students to take the examination serious and aim for high score.

As the examination dey come, e go make sense make other councils for the state emulate wetin Zango Kataf do so that dem go fit prepare their students well for the examination. This one go help the students to perform well for the examination and gain admission into tertiary institutions.
